I am 18 years old as of June 20th, and I am attending my dream school, the University of Washington. :DDD. I believe that I know what I am doing with my life and I know where I am going. I love my life sometimes. I care a lot about social justice and other related issues. Trying to help the poor, the homeless, and the disenfranchised is very important to me. I believe in a safe school for all students, regardless of sexual orientation and/or gender identity and expression. I believe that the change we seek from the world is possible, especially within ourselves. We can do anything we pour our hearts and souls into... whether that is building bombs of evil, or building bridges of enlightenment. I avoid using any words that demean a group of people. Nigg, fag, cunt, retarded, and other words like that are not in my vocabulary. I will correct you if I hear you, not because I am better then you, but because I think we as a society are better then that.
I personally do not use illegal drugs, or smoke cigarettes, and I will not drink substances. My life is already pretty crazy without these negative influences. I hope my friends that use make good decisions when they do so. I will not disband them unless they are going crazy. On a more positive note, I work, sleep, and go to school in Seattle, and I would not change my home for anything. This place is my playground and my sandbox. Seattle has truly made me into who I am today. Sometimes people think I own this town haha. I, however, will always share it. =] I do not think I am a mean egotistical scene kid. I am sorry if I do not reply to you though, I am really busy. Please understand. =[
I am very active in the queer community and I do not care what you think about it or me. If you think you are the only one out there, you are not alone. I know the work that I do is the right thing that needs to be done. Know yourself, respect other people, and validate your feelings. You can do anything you put your mind to!
I am a goal setter. I have set new goals for myself: let go of past drama, try to get along with members of my family(s), succeed in college, get to know new people in my age bracket, learn to love again, and never loose sight of my long-term goals. I really want to work for an LGBT organization or inclusive non-profit. =] I believe that life is a generational struggle and we will make the world either better or worse for the next generation. I plan on improving the world and making a difference. I can do my part, but we, together, can make our society better. / I value honesty over everything and my story
